Ex-Girl Scouts official pleads guilty to embezzling $370,000

Channing Smack, 51, of Marina del Rey, was also ordered to pay about $370,000 that prosecutors say he embezzled from the youth organization known for its annual cookie sales.
First a former top official for the Girl Scouts of Greater  pleaded guilty to one count of mail fraud and one count of money laundering.And Girl Scout officials said:We were outraged that a trusted member of our staff would violate the fundamental values we teach our girls every day.” Second  even in the face of adversity, to five fundamental values: honesty, trust, fairness, respect, and responsibility.
Third teaching is one of the most important jobs in our society, as educators play a crucial role in helping to influence children and shape their lives, teaching remains a very challenging job.I think for schools in general, character education is about finding some way to help students develop good habits or virtues.
